1. What is free SMS service? 

Free SMS service facilitates registered users to send free text messages (full 160 characters and Ad free) to mobile numbers across India. 

2. What do I need to use this service? 

All you need is a valid Indian mobile number and a valid email ID to register for our Free SMS service. 

3. Can I send SMS to other countries? 

Not at the moment. But we are working hard to make our free SMS service international in the near future. We will intimate you when we launch the service. 

4. Can I send a message other than simple text messages? 

Not at the moment. 

5. Do you send Ads along with my SMS? 

No, we do not send any Ads along with your SMS. 

6. I did not receive the activation link? 

Please make sure you check your spam folder as well. If you still can't find it, it could be because you have given an incorrect email ID during registration.You can, however, resend yourself the activation details by clicking on the Could not login link in the login page. 

7. I did not receive the activation code? 

It could be because you have registered your mobile number in the NDNC or have entered a wrong mobile number during registration.You can, however, resend yourself the activation details by clicking on the Resend activationcode link in the login page. 

8. My activation code which I have received does not work properly, what should I do? 

You can resend yourself the activation code by clicking on the Resend activation code link on the login page. 

9. How do I block messages from a specific user/mobile number/SMSabc? 

To stop receiving messages from a specific user of the site click here. 

10. Report abuse? 

I am receiving abusive messages from someone through this website, how can I complain? To report abuse click here. 

11. How secure is this website to send personal information? 

At SMSabc we take security and privacy very seriously. We encrypt all your messages using high end 256 bit encryption. Your contacts are also encrypted and cannot be viewed or exploited by anyone. 

12. How many SMS can I send in a day? 

As of now you can send 100/500 SMS per day. 

13. How many SMS can I send in one go? 

Using Group SMS service you can send 25 messages in one go. For this you need to create groups and import contacts in to it. 

14. How many Contacts can I store in my SMSabc account? 

Unlimited contacts can be stored. 

15. How many Contacts can I store in a group? 

You can add up to 25 contacts in a single group. 

16. How many groups can be created? 

You can create unlimited groups. 

17. I forgot my Password? /How can I change my password? 

By clicking on Forgot password Link in login page you can get a new one. At any time you can change your password by clicking on change password tab in Settings page. 

18. Can I change my mobile number?  

To change your mobile number, just login to your account go to settings and enter your new number under change mobile number. You would be asked to enter your old mobile number and the new mobile number. Once you submit these, a verification code would be sent to your new mobile number which you would need to enter. Once this is done, your mobile number will be replaced with the new one.

19. I want to delete my account with SMSabc? 

You need to send an email to support@smsabc.com and ask them to do it for you. *once you delete your account, we will not be able to recover the info at any circumstances.
